Revised Phased Manufacturing Programme for xEV Parts for eligibility under FAME-India Scheme-II

Department of Heavy Industries has notified revised Phased Manufacturing Programme for xEV Parts for eligibility under FAME-India Scheme (Phase-II). This notification covers a list of 20 eligible components that are used in electric vehicles across the two, three, four-wheeled and e-bus segments will be covered under the PMP. All the other parts, other than mentioned in the list of 20 should be domestically manufactured/assembled in India. As per this notification, traction battery packs to be assembled domestically in India to get eligible for subsidy under FAME-2 effective from 1st July 2019. However, battery cells and associated thermal & battery management system may be imported./p>
