Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has tendered for a 20MW floating photovoltaic plant in the Lakshadweep archipelago off the coast of Kerala.
The project tender includes a 60-megawatt-hour battery as well as 10 years of plant operations and maintenance.
SECI plans to develop renewable energy projects under its ownership in Lakshadweep, under a build, own and operate model. The projects will be spread across 11 islands of the Union Territory of Lakshadweep.
