NITI Aayog & RMI Report on India’s Electric Mobility Transformation

This report released by Rocky Mountain Institute with support of NITI Aayog in April’2019 covered topics on (i)summary of key policy and industry initiatives to support rapid adoption of electric mobility, (ii) Analyzing the impacts of FAME II with respect to emissions, oil consumption, overall EV adoption trends and (iii) Possible actions that industry and government can take in continued support of the faster deployment of EVs.  Suggestions on the government initiatives include the deployment of high-quality advanced batteries, incentives to ensure the most efficient use of funds, the launch of information, education, and communication (IEC) on electric vehicles, etc.
