Okaya will be deploying its Lithium-ion BESS solutions at three locations in Delhi and has announced its commitment to meeting the increasing demand for BESS solutions across the country with the state-of-the-art Okaya BESS Solutions.
“We are delighted to be awarded the contract for the supply, installation, and commissioning of 410 kWh Li-ion-based Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) at three locations in Delhi from BHEL and we will be looking forward to receiving more orders from such prestigious government organizations,” said Anshul Gupta, Director of the Okaya Power Private Ltd.
Okaya Power Group is one of the largest manufacturers and suppliers of EV charging stations, Li-ion batteries, and lead-acid batteries in India. The company has already deployed more than 500 EV charging stations and 250 MWh BESS solutions across the country.
All these efforts of Okaya are intended towards contributing its bit in making “AtmaNirbhar Bharat” mission a success, the company said in its official statement.
