Vinay Mahendru

Mr. Vinay Mahendru has been closely involved with Lithium Ion Battery Technology for over 7 years and has participated in various global conferences, exhibitions in USA, Europe and Far East and set up Lithium Ion Battery Packaging Plant with equipment and know- how from Samsung Electronics for making mobile phone batteries. From there, the plant was expanded to make small battery packs for Solar Lanterns, Power Packs for machines, Defence equipment, medical equipment etc. Mr. Vinay Mahendru is currently involved in the pivotal role of formulating Corporate Strategy and management of business affairs of Eon Electric Ltd. Having diversified industry experience, he is actively involved in the implementation and management of new LED Lighting & Lithium ion battery products and projects, to the existing range of products manufactured by Eon Electric Ltd. In 2013 he acquired Lithe Power Storage Solutions development and proto typing center for large Lithium Ion Battery Packs set up in India by Dow Chemicals to develop non-EV uses for Lithium Ion Battery Packs, and since then developed and deployed Lithium Ion Battery Storage System for rural Banks, rural ATMs solar backup, EV Application, Telecom Towers back up and critical industrial UPS systems and developed and deployed Lithium Ion Battery Technology along with Solar and LED for rural Solar Lighting. Vinay Mahendru born on (March 13th, 1962) holds Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Aston, UK, and B.E. Mechanical Engineering degree from University of Jammu & Kashmir.
