Nearly a decade and half ago, Dhivik Reddy’s father introduced the Conversion Kit in India that enabled petrol cars to run on LPG at his automobile service stations. An entrepreneur with 7 years of experience in learning and building Electric vehicles, Dhivik is following in his father’s footsteps seeking eco-friendly alternatives to petrol and diesel vehicles. He is the founder/CEO of Go Green EoT (Energy of Things) Pvt. Ltd. which is at the prime of combining low-cost electric vehicles, energy storage and technology. When they started, it was not an easy business to get into: “We had initial failures. The first 11 customers demanded their money back because their bikes broke down. But my team and I did not give up the hope of being able to create a better vehicle. We were able to gain a foothold in the market by designing India’s first e-bike with a range of 120 km per charge. “ GoGreenBOV was voted as one of top 11 startups by Entrepreneur Magazine. With an engineering background, Dhivik has been behind developing business for three MNC’s (before their launch in India) as a brand consultant and go-to market advisor. Being very adept with technology, connected vehicles platform, lithium batteries, energy storage sector and renewable energy, he has successfully gotten top leaders in the space of automotive, battery chemistry and power electronics on board. He has also worked directly with Argonne National Lab in the US and recently got an opportunity to work with engineers at Samsung SDI for a period of a month in their battery manufacturing plant in Yongin, Cheonan and Ulsan in South Korea..
