IESA Global Open Webinar on Giga-Scale Energy Storage Tender and Project Opportunities in India

The power industry is transitioning from dependency on fossil fuels to renewable energy and with the intermittent nature of renewable energy there is a need for Energy Storage Systems (ESS) in the energy mix. Realising the significance of ESS, the Government of India has launched several initiatives, tenders, policies and regulations supporting for large scale deployment of ESS in India. ESS tenders have evolved to include several new models such as Round-The-Clock (RTC), Peak power demand, Standalone energy storage system and Firm & Dispatchable RE with Energy Storage. The webinar will be focussed on key highlights of SECI tenders, its eligibility criteria, technical specifications, best suited project configuration for making the project techno-commercially feasible, key challenges and project opportunities in near future.
