KSEB issues the Expression of Interest for Procurement, Installation and Operation & Maintenance of EV Charging Stations for Electric Vehicles at specified locations primarily in three districts in Kerala viz. Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam and Kozhikode.

SCOPE of work include –

·  Design, engineering, testing at manufacturer’s works, procurement including transportation to site and storage, quality assurance, packing, erection including performance testing, satisfactory commissioning of EVCS having charger type / connector specified hereunder.

·  Smart Payment facilities shall be provided in EVCS (Time of the Day tariff will be applicable for all EVCS having Connected Load / Contract Demand above the limits to be specified by the KSERC).

·  The PCS operator should have tie-up with at least one Network service provider (NSP) for online booking, billing & payment; and shall share charging data with Nodal agency i.e. KSEB Ltd and CEA.

·  EVSE/Chargers etc shall be type tested

·  EVSE shall be interoperable and vendor neutral and type independent to meet the requirement of major EV and battery manufacturers and complying with relevant national standards and regulations

·  Responsibility of availing electricity connection, operation, maintenance, handing over of the EVCS, insurance coverage etc will be based on the selected Business Model.
