REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) FOR SELECTION OF OPERATOR FOR PROCUREMENT, OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF 50 No’s OF, 9m/12m NON-AC STANDARD AND AC SUITABLE FOR BRTS FULLY BUILT PURE ELECTRIC BUSES AND ALLIED ELECTRICAL & CIVIL INFRASTRUCTURE UNDER FAME-II SCHEME OF GOI ON GROSS COST CONTRACT BASIS (GCC) MODEL.

50 nos. of 9 M with 400mm/650mm floor height Non AC OR 12M with 400mm floor height Non AC standard OR 12M with 900mm floor height with AC BRTS OR combination of above fully built electric buses.

Specification for Fully Built Electrically Propelled Bus (EV) Non-AC 9M with 400mm/650mm Floor Height Suitable for City Operations(Intracity):

• Gross vehicle weight: minimum 12 T
• Load-carrying capacity: 3.5 T
• Propulsion system: Maximum 6 Hours for full charging on AC and 2 Hrs. for Fast Charging on DC. Minimum 80% be charged on fast full charging. Testing Agencies certification be produced
• Battery capacity :
  • A lithium-ion battery or superior
  • The minimum capacity of 250 kWh
  • Minimum 200 km with a single charge
  • Battery life: 7 years

Specification for Non-AC standard 12m Bus Suitable for City Operations

• Gross vehicle weight: minimum of 16 ton
• Load-carrying capacity: minimum of 5 ton
• Propulsion system: Maximum 6 Hours for full charging on AC and 2 Hrs. for Fast Charging on DC. Minimum 80% be charged on fast full charging.
• Battery capacity :
  • A lithium-ion battery or superior
  • The minimum capacity of 300 kWh
  • Minimum 250 km with a single charge
  • Battery life: 7 years

Use of On Bus Intelligent Transport Systems(OBITS) on NWKRTC buses :

• OBITS will send the location data every 10 seconds or at a user-configurable value which central system software has to capture and process it. Various alerts, to be finalized in the design stage, shall be shown to the dispatcher in real-time to help support operations
• Alerts shall be configurable by authorized staff of NWKRTC to the dispatchers.
• If the data connection to the central system is temporarily lost, all equipment shall seamlessly switch to an offline mode in which all data is temporarily stored in internal memory and transmitted to the central system as soon as the data connection is reestablished.
• All equipment shall have sufficient memory to operate in offline mode, with no loss of data, for not less than 168 hours
• In case of vehicle breakdown, the system shall record the event and send SMS to the concerned persons.
