DRDO has issued the tender for Supply of DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF ESS QUALIFIED LITHIUM BATTERY UNIT VER2.

ESS - shall be configured with Lithium-Ion cells. Seven Numbers of cells in series will be used to provide an open-circuit voltage of 28.7 Volt.

Nominal voltage output : 3.6 x 7 = 25.2 Volt
Full charge Open Circuit Voltage (OCV): 4. 2 x 7 = 29.4 Volt
Minimum voltage : 3.0 x 7 = 21.0 Volt
