In line with the Policy Working Group (PWG) meetings, a discussion was held on March 2, 2021, under the chairpersonship of Ms Bindu Madhavi, IESA and co-chairmanship of Mr Rahul Jain. The meeting covered policy updates and policy advocacy efforts carried out by IESA highlights of the discussion are –

- Letter to NITI Aayog: Congratulatory letter to Shri Sudhendu J Sinha, Adviser on taking charge of Electric Vehicle portfolio along with an appointment request.
- Letter to Delhi NCT Government: IESA: Applause letter on behalf of EV community towards EV Campaign initiatives with an appointment request.
- Letter to MNRE requesting them to include IESA to be part of Green Hydrogen Committee and request for draft policy.
- Draft Letter to PMO requesting to expedite gazette publication of ACC battery manufacturing PLI scheme.
